Gerard Doyle is a results-oriented digital leader with expertise in creating, managing and adapting online brands to succeed in a rapidly-evolving marketplace. He offers expertise and insight in revenue generation, digital product development and online consumer behaviours.
Prior to joining TVO, Gerard led the Toronto Star’s online strategy as Director of Digital Audiences and Revenues, creating best-in-class products for thestar.com’s audience and advertisers. He also led the evolution and transformation of toronto.com as General Manager, and as Senior Product Manager for Star Media Group, where he oversaw several digital properties including moneyville.ca, wheels.ca and toronto.com. As Manager of Publisher Relations for Olive Media, he worked with premium North American publishers to help them maximize digital revenues in the Canadian marketplace. Gerard has also held editorial positions at toronto.com including Managing Editor and Arts and Entertainment Channel Manager.
Gerard holds a Journalism diploma from Sheridan College and a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University. He has a keen interest in science, astronomy, and how technology will shape the world’s future, and is constantly looking to improve his golf swing.
