Jennifer Hinshelwood is an experienced and thoughtful human resources executive with a track record of building high functioning, dynamic, empowered teams and finding innovative solutions to organizational challenges.
Jennifer’s responsibilities at TVO include a full range of labour relations and human resources functions and issues including HR strategy and organizational design; workforce adjustment; business acquisition, growth and development; compensation, benefits and pension administration; training and development; recruitment and selection; and labour negotiations.
As the senior labour and human resources expert for the organization Jennifer leads the Talent and Engagement team and plays a key role in continuing to build TVO’s culture of innovation, empowering employees to thrive as it delivers unique public value to the citizens of Ontario.
Prior to joining TVO, Jennifer has provided strategic leadership to human resources teams in both unionized and non-unionized organizations including holding senior positions at Medical Pharmacies Group Limited, G4S Cash Solutions (Canada), Montage Support Services, and Pace Independent Living.
Jennifer is a graduate of Western University, Humber College and the Schulich School of Business at York University, and she holds both the Certified Human Resources Leader and Certified Employee Benefits Specialist professional designations.
