Kim is an educator with the Special Education department of a Kenora High School in Northwestern Ontario and has a lifelong interest in learning. Through her work within one of the largest school boards in Ontario (serving 27 locations and more than 7,000 students) Kim shares and promotes digital TVO information online with an extensive list of contacts. She is a nature and travel photographer, passionate kayaker and wilderness adventurer, past singer/songwriter performer with Kenora Harbourfront series with prior involvement in sharing her music with elementary aged children in their music programs. Kim is also co-founder and director of a pre-employment training program for women, former Sunday school teacher; former president of Keewatin Ladies’ Curling League and member of Lake of the Woods Historical Society.

TVO's volunteer advisory board, comprising of committed individuals from various communities around Ontario, is an integral part of the organization's community outreach, helping to deliver TVO's educational message to citizens across the province and providing valuable feedback on TVO programs and services.
