Just as the open house begins, Ella's Dad (Captain Grey) learns that Mayor Blue is stuck in a rowboat at sea. Ella and Dad set out on his ship to rescue Mayor Blue and get him back before Open House ends. They rescue Mayor Blue but the ship runs out of fuel. Itfs up to Ella to save the day and get everyone back, just in time.

GORDON advises THOMAS to ask PERCY'S advice but THOMAS thinks he knows all about how to deliver the mail. He sets off very early in the morning, tooting his whistle loudly wherever he goes, (and in the process waking up MAVIS, CRANKY, VICTOR and KEVIN). Later the sleepy engines make mistakes and THOMAS realises his error. The next morning, having learned a few lessons from PERCY, THOMAS does the mail run again, this time very quietly.

THOMAS has to wear a replacement funnel while his own is being fixed. He is embarrassed about it. Then THOMAS is asked to carry some special bubble liquid for famous clown MR. BUBBLES. But when the other engines laugh at THOMAS'S funnel, THOMAS rushes by them really fast to get away, spilling all the bubble liquid. THOMAS returns to get more, and, in so doing, learns that, actually, making people laugh can be a good thing.

The Big Top / Lighthouse / Sandy Tracks
Axle is very proud of the big circle race track he and the other racing Zerbies have constructed. But when it looks like rain they go to Mika the Mechanic to help them come up with a way to cover their course. Mika covers the course with a large canvas, but there's no room for the racers to race underneath. They try putting up a big stick in the middle, and that helps a bit, but there is still a lot of canvas covering the course. But when Mika pulls on the edge of the canvas to find out what Zack and Axle are talking about - they all realize that pulling the edges will make a perfect tent. Once they've pulled it and tied it down there's lots of room underneath for racing, rain or shine. --- Lily and Zack are driving along in the early morning when they find Bob the Boat beached up on the shore. Bob tells them that it was so dark last night that he couldn't find his boat house. With the help of Mika the Mechanic they place a lighthouse on Zerby Town Pier so he can see his way at night. But when they come to test it out they find where you put light is very important. They aim it at the shore, but all Bob can see is the bush it's hitting. They try again, this time aiming the light right at Bob, which doesn't help either. They find that the lighthouse works perfect if it's aiming right at Bob's boathouse. --- Sandy the Bulldozer joins Zack and Lily for a game of hide-and-seek. Zack and Lily are very surprised at how good Sandy is at hiding. But they soon discover Sandy's tracks, which they hope to follow to her hiding spot. When the tracks go over a rock they figure out to search the other side of the rock to find them again. When the tracks go into tall grass they learn to look for grass that's pushed over, and when they encounter tracks all over the place they search for other clues in order to find Sandy.

Keira shows the kids how a dead log's decomposition provides food and shelter for many living creatures. Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Pteranodon are gleeful as they enjoy their date, exploring the Dinosaur Train's other compartments. Mom and Dad return from their date to find their kids filled with more smiles than when they left them and, later, their pillows filled with several of the little bugs from underneath the decomposing log. --- The Pteranodon kids are spending the day with Grandma and Grandpa Pteranodon! On the Dinosaur Train on the way to their grandparents', Buddy, Tiny, Shiny and Don learn about sycamore trees. Grandma and Grandpa are so excited to have a whole day with their grandparents and doubly-excited to do a special ,project, with them. They bring the kids to a field lined with sycamore trees and show them one tall one in particular that was - Can you believe it!? - planted by their Dad when he was a kid! Buddy, Tiny, Shiny and Don get to plant their own sycamore saplings and vow to visit their trees to track their growth as the months and years go by!

Coot has designed a new satellite dish for closer observation of Jupiter, which the Racers have to place in orbit around the giant gas planet. Meanwhile, in an egotistical scheme to broadcast his new TV channel all over the Solar System, Vulture plans to hijack the satellite for his own purposes. So he secretly dispatches Dodo to follow the Racers, and then plant a piggybacking transmitter on the dish. The hapless assistant dutifully follows the cadets to Jupiter... but gets lost in one of its rings and is forced to send a distress signal. With the help of the dish, the Racers try to locate and rescue Dodo. Will they be able to save him from his own troubles, and will Vulture successfully hijack the new satellite to broadcast his megalomaniac messages across the Solar System?

Here they learn that orangutans use a special leaf and chew it into a lotion to ease muscle soreness, and return with this orangutan medicine to help their friends. But Zach has sent his Zachbots to fell the trees of the orangutan forest, and Martin and Chris activate the orangutan powers of the Creature Power Suit to rid the forest of saw-armed Zachbots, and save the orangutans rainforest home. The brothers embark on a sailing adventure to the middle of the Pacific Ocean with no land in sight in any direction for over 1,500 kilometers. They have joined a group of scientists and water advocates in the Marshall Islands in the South Pacific and travel together to the remote Great Pacific Garbage Patch - a massive collection of plastic waste congregated together by swirling ocean currents known as gyres.

They dump Herman back in the pond. Finding his beloved Herman gone, Jerry now feels terrible. He's sorry he ignored them but explains Herman was actually a TADPOLE for his school project and explains the life cycle of a frog. Now Nicole and the Raiders feel terrible. Finally the four of them catch Herman (or a look-alike) and his mother who is a jumping frog.
