So while Mundi and Oto experiment with different kinds of bridges, Doki and Gabi discover why the crabs are on the move in the first place - they're migrating to the shore, to lay eggs. --- When Gabi can't get her homemade butterfly kite off the ground, Doki wonders... how can we make a kite that will fly? Another Expedition Team knows, and they send Team Doki to a kite festival in HAMAMATSU, JAPAN, to find out! At the festival, the Team experiments with kite-making, flute playing and sushi rolling. Doki discovers what Gabi's butterfly kite lacked - a 'tail' to keep it pointed into the wind! The kite is fixed, just in time to rescue Oto from some hot wasabi, and even win a kite contest.

Instead of listening to the birds she race to the top of Gordon's Hill and then race down it, but instead of playing Toby reverses into a siding. Then they go to see farmer Trotter's pigs but Belle spoils the fun for Toby by making mud with her water jet. Toby goes into another siding but Belle chases after him still wanting to be his friend. Next they go to Maithwaite Station and Belle rings her big loud bell but Toby reverses away. Belle soon realises that if she wants to be Toby's friend she needs to listen to what makes him happy too. So Belle and Toby listen to the birds twittering and twitting together quietly. Finally they are both happy and become the best of friends.

Kevin decides to start practicing his shunting which causes chaos in the Steamworks as Kevin tries to shunt like a Steamie. An oil drum bashes into Emily's wheels and causes a scratch, another drum bangs under Spencer's buffers, and then another drum bashes into Victor and he is covered in goo. Kevin realises that it's great being a crane and he doesn't need to learn to shunt. Kevin fixes Emily, Spencer and Victor and then invents a new game to play with Percy and Thomas. Kevin hides things with his hook in a brand new game called Hide and Peep!

They set off to find something that has enough volume to fill the hole.

Thomas is getting his whistle fixed at the Steamworks before he delivers animals to the Sodor Country Fair. He rushes out of the Steamworks before his whistle is fixed properly and it starts to make a wonky sound. Thomas passes people on Sodor to tell them about the show but they can't hear what he is saying. Thomas then collects ducks, Katy the sheep dog and Farmer's McColl's prize cow to take them to the Fair. Thomas's whistle is so loud that soon the ducks fly out of their crates, Katy the sheep dog jumps out of the trailer and the cow runs away. Thomas arrives to the Fair and soon realises that all of the animals have run away and there are no people at the Fair. Thomas goes back to the Steamworks to get his whistle fixed. This time it makes its usual happy sound. Thomas tells everybody about the animal show and collects the ducks, Katy the sheep dog and the prize cow. Thomas is asked to use his whistle to declare that 'the animal show is now open!'

Mr. Porter's drone delivery system goes berserk when he loses the remote control. --- When Mayor Goodway holds a grand opening for a new Ferris Wheel, Mayor Humdinger and his evil kittens have other ideas, managing to steal it from its stand and trying to roll it all the way to Foggy Bottom. When it insists on going the wrong way, it ends up cutting a wild path of destruction right through town. Plus, Mayor Humdinger is onboard and trying not to panic as it rolls in haphazard directions. When Marshall and Chase get stuck on the Wheel, too, it's up to Ryder and the rest of the Pups to try to stop its chaotic ride and get it back where it belongs.

Seeing an opportunity to make some positive changes at the Academy, Eagle nominates himself as Class President... only to be challenged by Robyn, who also feels she'd make an effective leader. They agree that the only fair way to decide is to hold an election, so both candidates are soon off and running. Robyn takes a thoughtful approach, analyzing what the Racers can realistically hope to change, while Eagle makes brash, absurd promises - but coasts to victory based on his popularity. Problem is, now he finds he has to actually deliver on his crazy campaign pledges - including putting a second Moon in orbit around the Earth, which leads to a near-catastrophe in space when the new ,Moon, adversely affects the gravitational pull on Earth's ocean tides.

To earn their place in the final round, the four remaining groups must combine vocals, choreography and a killer concept to create a video with the potential to become an internet hit. Before the cameras roll, one group has to contend with losing its leader, while a bizarre take on rapping threatens to derail another. The videos will be screened to a live audience and a jury of a cappella experts who will decide who goes through to the final and who will leave the contest for good.

Ep. 6 - The Naked Choir
Just one more performance stands between the three finalists and the title of series champion. Their last challenge comes with a fiendish twist that poses a cheeky problem for one of the contenders, while a rival group struggles with the demands of life outside the contest, and the third goes all out to win with an a cappella country getaway. To emerge triumphant, the groups must compete in front of a audience of 1,000 at London's Koko concert hall and impress a jury of a cappella experts.

Backyard rinks are a big part of winter life in Ontario, but warmer winters mean less time for the ice to freeze. We speak with Wilfrid Laurier University professor Robert McLeman, who discusses RinkWatch, a project that is crowdsourcing data on backyard rinks. We also speak with volunteers who maintain the ice year after year and struggle against unpredictable temperature swings.
