Dinosaur Train
Rocket Train Surprise Party / Cloudy with a Chance of Fun
After Buddy, Tiny, Shiny and Don learn that it's Mr. Conductor's birthday, they decide to throw him a surprise party on his favorite place - the Dinosaur Train! The whole family plans the party, and even secretly rides the Rocket Train to pick up friends from all around the Mesozoic and to gather ginkgo leaves for a special birthday cake. The party is a huge success - the Conductor is surprised and moved, and loves his tasty ginkgo leaf birthday cake. --- As the Pteranodon kids play in their family nest, Buddy stares at a sky full of clouds and asks the group, ,What are clouds?, Mr. Pteranodon and his neighbor, Mr. Lambeosaurus have different opinions. As they all get on the Dinosaur Train, they consider whether clouds are made of water or whether they're just made of fluff. Tiny knows who would have the facts -- Mr. Conductor! He explains that clouds are made of billions of tiny drops of water that are so light they float in the air. He also takes the group to a stop at Cloudy Point Station where the kids play a cloud-spotting game, identifying three types of clouds they learned about: cirrus, stratus, and cumulus. In the end, a rainstorm certainly proves that clouds are made of water!

Rex offers to lift Bob from one side of the shallow part to the other. Getting a 'bucket ride' is fun, but Rex would have to do it every time Bob needs to crow. They look around and Zack and Bob realize they just need to make the water shallow enough for trucks to drive through, but deep enough so Bob the boat doesn't drive aground. --- Strut the Crane and Mika the Mechanic have constructed a large tunnel. Zack and Lily can't wait to try it. But when they do they realize it's very dark in the tunnel and they can't see. Mika has a light and she drives in to light it up, but Mika is too big to drive past when she's in the tunnel too. She can't leave the light either, since it has to be attached to her to work. But when Mika bumps into the side of the tunnel, some of the bark that makes the roof shifts and lets in sunlight. The Zerbies realize if they make little openings between the pieces of bark, they can use sunlight to light up the tunnel. Once this is done they play in the tunnel all day till it gets dark again. Once they realize the tunnel is dark because it's night they decide to go home for the day - ready to play in the tunnel again tomorrow. --- Zack and Axle find a bridge make out of sticks that crosses a small gap. The bridge, held up by two long sticks, can support Axle's weight, but when Zack tries to cross, it breaks. They call Mika the mechanic to help them make a new bridge. They build one with 3 sticks which holds up Zack just fine, but when Mika tries to cross, it breaks under her heavier weight. Finally they build a bridge with 4 sticks that can hold up even Mika. The Mystery of Knowing the Code
The clues: A napkin with an elaborate logo printed on it, a bamboo sword with lettering on it, a jug. The file label: "Know the Code". The investigation: The kids wonder if Hermione's mystery is about a secret code. If it is, they're ready to crack it! Kyla discovers that the napkin with the logo is from a university faculty club. Hermione was once a member there and she hung out with the club's manager Leanne. Kyla meets Leanne at the club and plays a game of table manners just like Hermione used to play with Leanne. They sit for a fancy meal and Kyla gets points for using good table manners and for spotting when Leanne is doing something impolite. From knowing how to use cutlery correctly, to saying please and thank you, Kyla quickly racks up the points. Her prize? Getting to wash all the dishes! It's the kind of gag Hermione often had in store for Leanne when they played this game. Kyla also finds out that the way you place your cutlery on your plate is kind of like sending a coded message to the waiter about whether you're finished, want more food or are just taking a break. E.B. meets his friend Kei at a dojo. Kei confirms that the lettering on the bamboo sword clue is Japanese. It's a sword used in the martial art Kendo and the lettering is the Japanese character Reigi, which roughly translates to manners. Before meeting the sensei, the master, Kei shows E.B. all the different bows in Japanese culture. Sensei is highly respected so E.B. must do the deepest bow at a 45-degree angle. E.B. gets to try out some Kendo moves and discovers that in Kendo, there are rules to follow like bowing, using the kaia yell when you spar, always being respectful and never bragging. After practice, E.B. and Kei enjoy some Japanese noodles and E.B. finds out that slurping is not considered rude. In Japanese culture, it's a way to tell the chef you're enjoying the food. Kyla discovers that the jug is called a jebena and it comes from Ethiopia. She meets up with her friend Hairmala who invites her to a traditional Ethiopian meal in her home. Kyla finds out that there are rules to follow like removing your shoes when you enter the house, eating with your hands, and participating in a traditional coffee ceremony with coffee made in an Ethiopian jebena.

While things in this province are becoming more hospitable on average, elsewhere droughts and wildfires threaten long-established vineyards.
