They spot which way the wind is coming from by using leaves, but the wind changes direction when Chase rises into the air. They call Mika the Mechanic and she brings a leaf tail - a few leaves tied on a string - to help them see which way the wind is blowing. But the leaf tail needs to be at the right spot to help them see the wind. On the ground doesn't work, neither does the spot on the trunk of a tree. They find it works best when it's high-up and in the open.

The Team blasts off, and before you know it, they're exploring 'Mars' while Fico and Oto go looking for the lander. But the two are stunned to see a space-suited 'Martian' take the lander inside his house! When they attempt to recover it, the Team learns that they aren't really on Mars.

The gang uses their Miniaturizer to shrink down and discover it's all about physics: all objects have electrical charges that attract one another and the gecko's marvelous toe pad structure charges so much that they can walk on surfaces as smooth as glass. But in the meantime Zach has stolen their Miniaturizer and now imprisons them in a glass terrarium. Martin and Chris activate the new Gecko Powers of their Creature Power Suits and must retrieve the Miniaturizer before Zach shrinks all the animals in the creature world. The Fat Controller tells Bash, Dash and Ferdinand that they are to be given a reward to welcome them to his railroad. First of all Ferdinand is to be given the reward of sharing Gordon's special. They will be taking the Lion of Sodor to the summerhouse and Ferdinand will be Gordon's back engine. Gordon isn't happy about being teamed up with 'frumpy' Ferdinand so takes the quiet track so no-one can see them. They soon pass workmen who cheer for Ferdinand (not for Gordon or the Lion of Sodor!). At Maron Station Dowager Hatt and a group of children cheer for Ferdinand too. Gordon comes up with another plan to take the quiet tracks across the fenland but Gordon goes too fast and the Lion of Sodor falls into the river. Gordon realises he was wrong to think he was grander than Ferdinand. Ferdinand helps Gordon to get the Lion of Sodor back and they take it to the Steamworks to get it fixed. Gordon now gives Ferdinand the honour of being the front engine to pull the Lion of Sodor. Ferdinand and Gordon are cheered as they race along the tracks and deliver the lion to the Duke and Duchess at the summerhouse.

The Fat Controller gives Bash a reward for being a Really Useful Engine. His reward is to spend the day with Toby. First Toby and Bash pick up the children at Knapford Station and take them to Bluff's Cove. Then they heave and haul slate to Brendham Docks. Soon they are tired and Bash needs a rest so Toby brings Bash to Arlsedale End. Bash thinks Arlesdale is beautiful and Toby lets him sleep there. Toby thinks that Bash would like a home of his own on Sodor and sets out with Bash to find the perfect home. They visit the Fenlands but Bash is scared of the ducks. Next Toby brings bash to Farmer McColl's Field but the cows scare Bash so he races off. Next Toby takes Bash to the cliff top where they see Dash and Ferdinand below. Toby realises that Bash just wants his home to remain on Misty Island. Toby takes Bash to Misty Island and soon Bash is happily back with Dash and Ferdinand.

But this time they have to get it right on the first try. --- Flynn is a float plane. He has floats. But the new Zerby Town Airport has a runway for him to land on, and there are wheels he can use. But how does he land and put on wheels if he can only land on water with his floats? Zack and Rex help Flynn figure it out.

Dash warns Emily that he'll run out of fuel if he has to keep showing Emily how to tweet. Emily doesn't listen and soon Dash runs out of fuel. He becomes stuck and can't move to go to the fair. Emily goes to the fair instead and tries to tweet again but everyone just thinks she is funny as she ties and fails to tweet. Emily soon realises that she has been a silly engine and needs to help Dash. Emily makes everything better by getting fuel for Dash and bringing him to the fair. Emily is so happy and laughs so hard when they get to the fair that she suddenly twitters and tweets.

Everyone is celebrating the opening of Adventure Beach with a big luau. The Paw Patrol is on hand as lifeguards to make sure everyone stays safe. But when Cap'n Turbot's boat is attacked by a multi-tentacled creature it's time to bring out the Paw Patrol's newest vehicle the Sea Patroller! Ryder and the pups take the big boat out to rescue Cap'n Turbot and the Flounder, but no sooner is that done when tentacles are causing big trouble at the beach! As the pups rescue the beachgoers, we see that a baby octopus is on the loose and its near-sighted momma is simply trying to rescue it. Clever Ryder and the pups reunite the family and even help the mom see better!
