About the video:

Matt Watts was emotionally paralyzed by Generalized Anxiety and Panic Disorder. He couldn't walk out of his house for more than a block; he couldn't shop for groceries, or see a movie, or ride a subway. Matt's world became so small, that he started planning his suicide, until he decided to give therapy one more shot. Matt threw himself into a cognitive behavioural therapy program. Within weeks, his life dramatically began to turn around. Today, Matt Watts is a highly successful writer and actor, appearing most recently in the CBC's ,Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays,, a series based on his own neurosis. This video is part of TVO's Mental Health Matters series - an in-depth exploration of the state of mental health in our society.
