So Zack and Rex try, try again to find a faster way tomake the sand pit bigger in Zerby Town.

It's time for the annual Talent Show, but Gabi can't decide which animal impression to do. When Anabella suggests she dance like a 'Bird of Paradise', Gabi is intrigued. Why would a bird, dance? To find out, and get a video of the rarely-seen dance, the Team flies to New Guinea. The boys vow to get the video first, but get comically lost in the jungle instead. The girls do track down a bird, but when Gabi sees the famous dance, she decides it's far too silly to perform... until Anabella's camera gets stuck in a high nest in a tree. Anabella realizes that they can use what they've learned - that the male bird dances to attract a mate - to distract the bird and recover the camera. --- Mundi often uses her special physical abilities to help her friends. But one day, Fico flings his Frisbee up on a roof, and Mundi feigns an injury to get a break. Fico puts out a call for help from a superhero, and they get a surprising offer to 'borrow' superpowers for the day. How could we have superpowers? They fly off to Germany, to borrow some high-tech 'super' suits. They try using a climbing suit, a jet pack, and a power lifting suit, but none is able to recover the Frisbee. Finally, Mundi (tired of Anabella's overzealous nursing) offers to get it - but Anabella has already found a low-tech solution.

When Marshall and Chase get stuck on the Wheel, too, it's up to Ryder and the rest of the Pups to try to stop its chaotic ride and get it back where it belongs.

Gordon and Ferdinand
The Fat Controller tells Bash, Dash and Ferdinand that they are to be given a reward to welcome them to his railroad. First of all Ferdinand is to be given the reward of sharing Gordon's special. They will be taking the Lion of Sodor to the summerhouse and Ferdinand will be Gordon's back engine. Gordon isn't happy about being teamed up with 'frumpy' Ferdinand so takes the quiet track so no-one can see them. They soon pass workmen who cheer for Ferdinand (not for Gordon or the Lion of Sodor!). At Maron Station Dowager Hatt and a group of children cheer for Ferdinand too. Gordon comes up with another plan to take the quiet tracks across the fenland but Gordon goes too fast and the Lion of Sodor falls into the river. Gordon realises he was wrong to think he was grander than Ferdinand. Ferdinand helps Gordon to get the Lion of Sodor back and they take it to the Steamworks to get it fixed. Gordon now gives Ferdinand the honour of being the front engine to pull the Lion of Sodor. Ferdinand and Gordon are cheered as they race along the tracks and deliver the lion to the Duke and Duchess at the summerhouse.

The Fat Controller gives Bash a reward for being a Really Useful Engine. His reward is to spend the day with Toby. First Toby and Bash pick up the children at Knapford Station and take them to Bluff's Cove. Then they heave and haul slate to Brendham Docks. Soon they are tired and Bash needs a rest so Toby brings Bash to Arlsedale End. Bash thinks Arlesdale is beautiful and Toby lets him sleep there. Toby thinks that Bash would like a home of his own on Sodor and sets out with Bash to find the perfect home. They visit the Fenlands but Bash is scared of the ducks. Next Toby brings bash to Farmer McColl's Field but the cows scare Bash so he races off. Next Toby takes Bash to the cliff top where they see Dash and Ferdinand below. Toby realises that Bash just wants his home to remain on Misty Island. Toby takes Bash to Misty Island and soon Bash is happily back with Dash and Ferdinand.

But with what? --- Zack wants to build an obstacle course. He can see it perfectly in his head. Unfortunately, he isn't doing a great job explaining what he wants to Rex and Strut.

When Lucas finally arrives, Lili, wracked with guilt, is in a panic to try and find the ball and put it back before Lucas knows it's missing, while, at the same time, amusingly trying to distract Lucas every time she thinks he wants to play with his ball. Gradually, getting more and more tired-it's tough to keep pace with Lucas-she admits that she took his ball without asking.

Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Pteranodon are gleeful as they enjoy their date, exploring the Dinosaur Train's other compartments. Mom and Dad return from their date to find their kids filled with more smiles than when they left them and, later, their pillows filled with several of the little bugs from underneath the decomposing log. --- The Pteranodon kids are spending the day with Grandma and Grandpa Pteranodon! On the Dinosaur Train on the way to their grandparents', Buddy, Tiny, Shiny and Don learn about sycamore trees. Grandma and Grandpa are so excited to have a whole day with their grandparents and doubly-excited to do a special ,project, with them. They bring the kids to a field lined with sycamore trees and show them one tall one in particular that was - Can you believe it!? - planted by their Dad when he was a kid! Buddy, Tiny, Shiny and Don get to plant their own sycamore saplings and vow to visit their trees to track their growth as the months and years go by!

Dash warns Emily that he'll run out of fuel if he has to keep showing Emily how to tweet. Emily doesn't listen and soon Dash runs out of fuel. He becomes stuck and can't move to go to the fair. Emily goes to the fair instead and tries to tweet again but everyone just thinks she is funny as she ties and fails to tweet. Emily soon realises that she has been a silly engine and needs to help Dash. Emily makes everything better by getting fuel for Dash and bringing him to the fair. Emily is so happy and laughs so hard when they get to the fair that she suddenly twitters and tweets.

The toy airplane and kite are flying toys so maybe that's what the mystery is about. At the Bell Homestead Museum, E.B. discovers that Alexander Graham Bell didn't only invent the telephone; he also dreamed of a human flying machine. By building and flying a tetrahedral kite, E.B. finds out that kites were a big part of Bell's flight experiments. Meanwhile, Kyla visits the Aviation Association where she checks out vintage airplanes. She flies in a propeller plane and even gets to steer it herself! The world sure seems small from up there. E.B. follows the shipping receipt to the massive Fed Ex facility. He finds out that packages from as far away as China can get delivered by airplane the very next day. Mystery solved: The kids discover that the invention of flight has turned the planet into a "Small World", making us a global community.
