So Doki does a little research, and is amazed to learn that in MARACAIBO, VENEZUELA, there's a lightning storm every day. But why is there lightning every day? They set off to find out - and to get Anabella's photo. But when they land, the plane suffers damage, and now they need oil and sheet metal to fix it! In the search for these things, they discover some very interesting things about the Lake Maracaibo area, which just might help to explain that lightning.

To Eagle's delight and Coach's chagrin, they soon find the drink everywhere after Vulture strikes an exclusive deal to offer it at the academy. Orange Outrage's effects begin to show; the racers have engine problems, and trouble sitting still or sleeping. Sneaking backstage before a show, the kids discover their heroes drinking the old fuel instead. The embarrassed Roosters come clean that it was just an endorsement, and after the show they announce that they'll no longer shill for the drink. They thank the cadets for helping them do the right thing, while Vulture is furious - and would do more... if only he didn't feel so sluggish.

Everest helps the Paw Patrol search and lures the frightened baby bears back to shore and their mother bear! --- When little lambs keep running away from Farmer Al's pasture, it's up to the Paw Patrol to find the missing sheep and discover who's been making holes in the fence. Super Spy Chase uses his spy gear and tools to search for the culprit from outside the pasture, while Marshall infiltrates the flock by dressing up like a sheep! Despite the pups' efforts, three lambs manage to escape and get trapped in a cave. Now Marshall a.k.a Baaaaney, must save them and bring the real lambs home!

Flynn's Runway / Strut Gets Stuck / Main Street
Zack joins Bob the Boat and Fran the Ferry as they explore a new bay of Zerby Town Lake. Flynn the float plane wants to join them but they need to find a spot for him to land. Zack picks out a spot on the ground, but Flynn needs water to land - he's a float plane. The next spot they pick is too small and the --- Strut his happily digging a hole around himself when he realizes that he's dug down too deep to get back out. Zack, Rex and the other construction Zerbies try, try again to help Strut get out of the hole, but the problem is, when a Zerby needs lifting up, it's usually Strut who they call. What do they do when it's Strut that needs the lift? First, Fill the Front Loader tries pouring dirt down into the hole so Strut can make a ramp, but there isn't enough room for Strut to get out of the way and the dirt ends up on his roof. Next, Sandy the bulldozer tries to pull Strut out, but she can only pull him sideways against the edge of the hole. Finally, Zack notices a tree branch above Strut. Throwing his hook over the branch, Strut is able to pull himself up and out of the hole. --- Zack, Axle and some other Zerbies decide they all want their own long driveways and roads. But when the roads start crossing over each other and getting confusing they try, try again to come up with a better way to organize the town. Their first solution is to put everyone's garage far enough away so that no one's road goes over anyone elses. But the Zerbies end up so far away from each other that they decide there must be another way. Zack and Axle realize that if everyone shares a main street then they can each have their own short road - their driveway - and a big shared road - Main Street.

After a while Super Koda starts to be a bit disruptive. When he crashes into the new box of biscuits a very annoyed Pedro informs him that he is NOT super. Koda feels let down and glum. But then he rescues a little bird that has fallen from it's nest and everyone agrees that Koda has super hearing and super bravery! He really is super Koda.

August brings the climax of the farming year and the end of the team's twelve months on the Edwardian farm. The team must harvest the oat crop, but constant rain is making the job impossible. They investigate ways of forecasting the weather and embark on creating a weather vane. Peter tries his hand at the art of repoussé to make a copper cockerel for the vane, and Ruth forages for seaweed on the coast to replenish the market garden's soil.

When Uncle Norm tells Alanna and Kevin that the local ice cream shop is sold out of their favorite Choco Crunch ice cream, they set off to figure out why Bernie's parlour can't keep it in stock. They learn all about the MODE (the most frequent value) from a local hat vendor. When the day is done, Uncle Norm is, "in the mode". Children are introduced to one of the important measures of central tendency, the concept of mode: the number that occurs the most often in a set of data. Some examples of how the data can be presented include: tally charts, concrete graphs using models, pictographs, bar and circle graphs.

Jerry's best friend Wolf comes over to skateboard, but Dad won't let Jerry skate until he finds his helmet. Jerry talks the Raiders into helping him look for it in his room- but don't mess it up! Encountering Fuzzbots under the bed (dust bunnies), ferocious fuzzy creatures that smother everything, the Raiders perform a daring rescue to get Jerry's helmet, creating a total mess in the room. As the Raiders begrudgingly clean the mess that night, Jerry educates them with the odd and unusual habits and appetite of dust bunnies.

Wilson's Whistle
When Jerry's aunt brings over her new puppy Wilson, both kids compete to take care of him. But the puppy only sleeps. Jerry needs to finish practicing his musical recorder, (despite everyone's aching ears) and forgets to check - and the puppy disappears. They look everywhere, trying every Raider trick, but no luck. Jerry finds a whistle in the basket, but no sound comes out of it. Disappointed he blows again and to everyone's surprise the puppy comes. That night they explore human hearing and dog's hearing. When Bakko makes fun of Jerry's recorder playing, he tries himself - and even dogs outside howl.
